The Archdiocesan Youth Conference (AYC) 

The Archdiocesan Youth Conference (AYC) is an annual gathering of Catholic youth in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. AYC provides young Catholics an opportunity to encounter the love of Jesus Christ in powerful and life-changing ways through the sacraments, prayer, community, and inspiring talks from keynote speakers and workshop presenters.

This event is sponsored by the Archdiocesan Office of Adolescent Catechesis and Evangelization. The theme, talks, workshops, and prayer experiences are developed by members of the Archdiocesan Youth Council serving on the AYC Committee 

St. Theresa Catholic Church High School Faith Formation is proud to participate in this annual event. For students enrolled in our 2nd Year Confirmation preparation program, AYC may be selected as one of the two required retreats needed to fulfill Confirmation formation requirements. For all other High School Faith Formation students, AYC is available as an optional retreat experience and is highly encouraged as an opportunity to grow in faith, deepen their relationship with Christ, and connect with other Catholic teens from across the Archdiocese.
